Johnson, Laschober &
Associates, P.C. has provided Engineering and Landscape Architecture
design services to Augusta State University for various projects
through the years.
Several of the projects JLA has
worked on are the Central Utility Plant, Science Hall, University
Hall, and the ASU Master Plan. Recently, JLA provided Structural Engineering Services for the new Student Activities
Center.
Central Utility Plant-Phases
2 and 3:JLA
provided civil, mechanical, electrical and structural design for the
offices housing the facility engineering and maintenance department.
Phases
2 of project included mechanical design included power for a 750-ton
centrifugal chiller and 500 Hp gas-fired boiler, loop circulation
pumps, and cooling tower expansion.Electrical design also included lighting, power, and
communications systems for the conversion of unused space into
offices housing the facility engineering and maintenance department.
Phases
3 of project included extending underground distribution system for
chilled water and medium-temperature hot water and connect existing
buildings to system.
Science
Hall:
JLA provided structural and civil engineering design and specifications for construction of a 3-story academic building, all
site work & storm water
management systems.
University Hall: JLA provided civil
and structural design services for the construction of a new 110,000
s.f. academic building.
Jaguar Center: JLA was the
structural engineer for the construction of the new Student
Activities Center at Augusta State University. The 50,000 s.f.
facility abutted to the Reese Library.
We are pleased to announce that Zachary K. Davis
has achieved his Registration as a Landscape Architect in the
State of Georgia. Mr. Davis is a 2004 graduate of the University of
Georgia and has been a member of the Landscape Architecture Department since
joining the firm in 2004.
