Johnson, Laschober & Associates, P.C. has one (1) opening for a Civil Designer.

JLA is a multi-discipline firm offering design consulting engineering services including land planning, landscape architecture, civil, environmental, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering.  

Position Requirements:

•  At least 2 years CAD experience with an emphasis in land development and civil design

• Computer graphics technical degree a plus

• Proficient in AutoCAD and hands-on experience with AUTODESK Land Desktop

Design Applications and other responsibilities

• Layout Plan – Develop site layout plan including subdivision lot layout, access roads, parking lots, etc. 

• Grading and Drainage Plans - Develop finished grades and calculate earthwork quantities; assist Engineer in layout of site drainage.  Assist in preparation of storm sewer profiles

• Utilities - Water Distribution and Sanitary Sewer Collection - Assist in preparation of utility routing, profiles, and details

• Roadway design - Prepare horizontal and vertical alignment using AUTODESK Land Desktop

• Erosion, Pollution, Sediment & Pollution Control Plans - Prepare plans and details

• Facilitate site permitting with state and local agencies
