JLA has provided design services on several projects at Georgia Southern University.

Hanner Walkway:  JLA provided the design and development of the walkway and landscape lighting for the entrance to the new Hanner Gymnasium building.  The design involved intricate paver walkways and segmental retaining walls. The project also included extensive storm drainage design.  The firm provided civil, landscape architecture and electrical engineering services.  The project called for the creation of a large gathering space for students with seating.  A 56-inch caliper Live Oak acts as the focal point for the space and is uplighted for a dramatic effect.

Entrance Gateway Monument:  JLA provided the design and electrical engineering services for the entrance Gateway Monument for Georgia Southern University.  This streetscape project included roadway design, sidewalks, raised planters and accent lighting.  Designed exterior lighting for an entrance structure to the campus.  Lighting elements included column, façade and signage lighting.
